Using A Mobile?
You can use GlobeCaller from your mobile phone too - giving you huge savings compared to the international call tariffs charged by your mobile provider. Using GlobeCaller with your mobile works in exactly the same way as calling from a landline. 1. Select country you want to phone. 2. Dial the access number shown. 3. At the welcome message dial your international number. When you call from a mobile, remember to only press the call or send button after dialing the access number but not again after dialing the destination number. With some mobile tariffs 0870 & 0844 calls are bundled with your free minutes package. Make sure that you check the rates with your mobile service provider before making your calls. An easy way to use GlobeCaller from your mobile without having to dial both the access number and the international number every time you use the service is to add the number to your phone book and add a pause between the access number and the international number you wish to dial. Eg: You want to call John in Australia. So, you create a new entry called 'John' in your phonebook and then when entering the number follow the three steps below 1. Enter the GlobeCaller access number for Australia - 0870 996 2978 2. Enter a 'pause'. This is done as follows depending on your brand of mobile Nokia Phones: A 'p' should appear after * has been pressed 3 times: eg 0870 996 2978(*** will show a 'p') Siemens/Panasonic Phones: A '+' should appear after 0 has been pressed and held Motorola / Ericsson Phones / Sony: A 'p' should appear after * has been pressed and held. 3. Now enter your international destination number in full including 00 and press save. That's it - next time you want to call 'John' using GlobeCaller simply find John in your memory and press call! Refer to your mobile phone instruction manual or contact your phone manufacturer for further instructions. |
